My attempt at making rolled cake. Yet again I fail and you'll see why below.
This is a list of the upcoming dishes I will make at some point. They will probably be made in order and not long from now since I really like to bake sweets.
Newest exploit. Today we had problems making some food. Full story in the "Read More" tag!
The consistency was truly perfect for the pie. I could cut out a slice and put it on my plater without any content dripping out at all.
And here's one of my real failures. Normally I do a lot of mistakes when baking but what I did here was very bad.
There were a couple of problems I had when making it. Firstly was that I used far too much arrack aroma in the filling. Secondly I couldn't get a good elastic property to the marzipan. Thirdly I had far too much filling into these things which I didn't realize until I was in the middle of fiddling with it. Fourthly I had far too much water in my chocolate dipping so it became just like Oboy.
Thankfully I managed to salvange it by cooking the chocolate and making sure to whip it enough. The result of the chocolate became pretty good if I may say so myself. Also I could probably have done it better. I will definatley go back to this one day but it was very expensive to make this though.
Alright this isn't cake with whipped cream or anything like that but rather simple sugar cake.
Sadly this is the only picture I managed to get before it was completely eaten. It tasted a lot of egg was one of the critisism which may be because I didn't have enough sugar in it. The other person praised it and told the critic (which in this case was my brother) to shut up.
Second on my list is Strawberry pie!
I know I used a stupid plater. It was very easy making the pie and the filling but for some reason I couldn't make a top. Probably because I didn't let my dough cool off in the refridgerator before I tried making it.
